How to Replace the Battery in a 2008 Honda S2000 Key Fob

If your S2000 keyless entry remote isn't open doors perfectly, the battery most likely needs to be changed. It's not difficult to replace the battery in your remote key fob with our instruction. Everything you need is outlined in this post.

Before beginning open key fob check all that you need: CR2025 battery, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

- phillips head screwdriver
Step by step instruction
A button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything is functioning by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
