Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
