If your Liberty key fob isn't open doors well, the cell battery more likely must to be replaced. In this article, we are going to tell you how to open your remote key fob and replace a discharged battery yourself. If you decide to do it at home near Liberty, follow our instruction, but first make sure you have everything you need before you start.

Simple steps to change the battery in your Liberty's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
