How to Open Your 2008 Mazda 5 Key Fob and Change Battery

If your car key fob is no longer unlock doors correct, the battery surely needs to be changed. In this article, we described how to disassembly your keyless entry remote and replace your Mazda key battery.
What kind of battery remote key fob use
Changing battery in key fob require flat head screwdriver and one CR1620 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR1620 battery

Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all is functioning by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
