Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
