Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to open your fob with pry tools. Change 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
