How to Open Your 2008 Mitsubishi Galant Key Fob and Change Battery
Key fob grant access to your auto. Once the key battery is dead you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use remote opportunities. In this post, we walks you through how to open your car remote key fob and replace your Mitsubishi key battery.

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Delicately try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
