Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working properly by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
