Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Delicately try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all working fine by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
