How to Open Your 2008 Subaru Impreza Key Fob & Change Battery

Replacing battery in key fob require 1xCR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR2025 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin cell battery. Gently try to open your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
