Before beginning open key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1 CR1632 battery, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Remove screw on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all is functioning by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
