Simple steps to change the battery in your Tundra's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
