Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed coin cell battery. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
