Step by step instruction
A coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Spin the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
