How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Acura TSX Key Fob

Key fob allow access to your Acura. When the key fob battery is weak you lose your fob’s ability to use remote opportunities. Below, we described how to open your keyless entry remote and replace your Acura key battery step by step.

Replacing battery in remote key fob require phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR1616 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR1616 battery

Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1616. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
