Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to disassemble your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all is functioning by pressing buttons on key fob.
