2009 Dodge Avenger Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
Key fob allow access to your Avenger. If the keyless entry remote battery is dead or weak you will not to be able lock trunk or doors remotely. Changing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A small button battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
