Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s shell. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
