Simple steps to change the battery in your Mustang's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button battery. Accurately try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
