How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 GMC Acadia Key Fob
Key fob allow access to your auto. Once the remote key fob battery is weak you’ll lose your fob’s ability to use remote functions. In this article, you’ll benefit from knowing how to open your remote key fob and change a weak battery yourself. Simple steps to replace the battery in your Acadia's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Carefully try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
