How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Hummer H3 Key Fob

In this article, we are going to tell you how to open Hummer remote key fob and change a weak battery DIY. Before you start to disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
