How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Jaguar XF Key Fob
Keyless entry remote allow access to your Jaguar. Once the remote key fob battery is discharged you will lose your fob’s ability to control remote functions. In this case, you’ll benefit from knowing how to open your keyless entry remote and change a discharged battery yourself. If you choose to do it at home near XF, follow our instruction, but don't forget to check everything you need before you start.

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed coin battery. Open key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your key fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
