How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Jeep Commander Key Fob

Don't forget before disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
