How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Jeep Liberty Key Fob

Key fob grant access to your auto. When the key battery is dead or weak you’ll lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control distance opportunities. In this post, we described how to open your car key fob and replace your Jeep key battery.
What kind of battery remote key fob require
Before beginning open key fob check all that you need: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to open your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
