How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Land Rover LR2 Key Fob

Remote key fob grant easy access to your auto. When the key fob battery is dead or weak you will not to be able lock car from distance. In this post, we described how to open your keyless entry remote and change your Land Rover key battery.
What kind of battery key fob require
Before beginning disassembly key fob check all that you need: soldering iron, flat head screwdriver, VL2330 battery, flux and soldering wire.- 1xVL2330 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Open key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. VL2330 is rechargeable battery. To remove it from a keyless entry remote soldering iron required.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
