2009 Lexus GS 460 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

What kind of battery keyless entry remote use
Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR1632 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Delicately try to open your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
