2009 Lincoln MKX Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Remote key fob grant access to your MKX. Once the keyless entry remote battery is weak or dead you not to be able unlock doors remotely. What kind of battery keyless entry remote require
Before beginning disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Delicately try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
