Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
