Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
