Before going to disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: two CR2025 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your G500's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
