How to Open Your 2009 Nissan 350Z Key Fob and Change Battery

Before you start to open keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR1620 battery.- 1xCR1620 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
