Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Gently try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working fine by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
