Step by step guide
A small button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Delicately try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
