Simple steps to replace the battery in your Tribeca's key fob
A tiny button battery installed inside the your key fob. Delicately try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
