Before going to disassembly key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1xCR2016 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
