How to Replace the Battery in a 2009 Volkswagen Eos Key Fob

Step by step guide
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
