Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A small button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
