How to Open Your 2010 Audi A4 Key Fob & Change Battery

Before you start to disassembly key fob check all that you need: CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
