How to Replace the Battery in a 2010 Audi TT Key Fob

If your TT keyless entry remote isn't open doors properly, the battery most likely must to be changed. Below, we walks you through how to disassembly your car key fob and replace your Audi key battery.

Prior to open key fob check all that you need: 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your TT's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
