Before you start to disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: 1 CR2032 battery, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
