Replacing battery in key fob require phillips head screwdriver, 1xCR1616 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the key fob over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1616. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
