Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
