Before you start to disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: one CR1632 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR1632 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Delicately try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1632. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
