How to Replace the Battery in a 2010 Mercedes-Benz G500 Key Fob

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A small button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
