Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny button battery installed in the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
