Simple steps to replace the battery in your GL450's keyless entry remote
A small coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
