How to Replace the Battery in a 2010 Nissan Maxima Key Fob

Prior to open keyless entry remote check all that you need: 1 CR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed small coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
