Step by step guide
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
