2010 Toyota Matrix Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Keyless entry remote grant access to your car. If the remote key fob battery is weak or dead you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control remote opening function. What kind of battery key fob use
Before going to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2016 battery.- 1xCR2016 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working fine by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
