Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver, 1 CR1616 battery and phillips head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A small button battery installed in the your key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR1616. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
